Technical Lead Java/Fullstack

Salary: £75,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong commercial Java experience
• Full-stack experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, and React
• Cloud experience, particularly AWS; Azure is beneficial
• CI/CD experience with tools such as GitLab
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers
• Comfortable engaging with clients and providing technical direction
• Consultancy experience is beneficial but not essential
• Must be a British citizen and have lived permanently in the UK for the last 5 years to be SC clearable

Responsibilities:

• Lead engineers and provide technical direction
• Shape architecture and design decisions
• Work directly with clients to solve complex problems and deliver high-quality software
• Stay hands-on while owning technical leadership
• Work across the full software lifecycle, from requirements and architecture through development, deployment, and ongoing support
• Contribute to complex, mission-critical government projects
