We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead - Platform Engineering (Integration & DevOps) to play a critical role in shaping and delivering enterprise integration capabilities across a large and complex technology landscape. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing Platform Engineering practice and contribute to a significant business transformation programme where integration will be central to success.
Working alongside architects, platform engineers, and delivery teams, you will provide technical leadership across integration platforms, DevOps practices, security, and automation. You will remain hands-on while helping guide delivery teams and ensuring best-practice engineering outcomes.

Working alongside architects, platform engineers, and delivery teams, you will provide technical leadership across integration platforms, DevOps practices, security, and automation. You will remain hands-on while helping guide delivery teams and ensuring best-practice engineering outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the design and implementation of enterprise integration solutions using MuleSoft
- Driving modern DevOps practices across integration platforms
- Building and enhancing CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and deployment processes
- Implementing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and platform automation capabilities
- Ensuring integration solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, and operationally efficient
- Collaborating with architects and engineering teams to establish integration standards and best practices
- Supporting a major business amalgamation and transformation programme where integration capability is a critical success factor
- Providing technical leadership to contractor resources, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and capability uplift within the team
- Contributing to the growth and maturity of a large Platform Engineering practice
- Strong, hands-on experience with MuleSoft enterprise integration platforms
- Proven experience leading integration engineering initiatives in complex enterprise environments
- Deep understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, release automation, and operational excellence
- Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Experience with Azure DevOps and modern engineering toolchains
- Solid understanding of security principles relating to integration platforms, APIs, automation, and cloud environments
- Ability to balance strategic technical leadership with hands-on delivery
- Experience with SAP Integration Suite
- Exposure to large-scale transformation, merger, consolidation, or business integration programmes
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical delivery teams
