Technical Lead QA Engineer - Mainframe Modernization

We are seeking a Technical Lead QA Engineer specializing in Mainframe Modernization to join our team. This role is crucial for validating our mainframe-to-AWS modernization program. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with mainframe technologies, including COBOL, IMS, and DB2, and will be responsible for ensuring that the modernized AWS workloads produce results consistent with the legacy platform. The role involves two key components: first, understanding the current behavior of the legacy system to define what 'correct' looks like; second, developing automation in Python and Go to validate the outcomes of the modernization efforts. As a Technical Lead, you will own the test strategy for parallel runs, data migration validation, batch equivalence, and cutover readiness. Collaboration is essential, as you will work closely with mainframe developers, cloud engineers, and architects to ensure a seamless transition. The position is hybrid, based in Hyderabad, India, and offers a long-term contract-to-hire opportunity.
