A specialist engineering firm is seeking a Technical
Manager to lead technical oversight, engineering integrity, and project
delivery across large‑scale commercial hot water and heat pump installations.
This role is ideal for a senior HVAC/mechanical professional
who enjoys technical leadership, problem‑solving, and ensuring high‑quality
project execution.
What You’ll Do
• Validate technical designs and proposals
• Lead project managers and installation teams
• Oversee commissioning and installation quality
• Resolve complex technical and site challenges
• Ensure compliance with SANS and OHSA
• Improve technical standards and operational discipline
• Build and mentor a strong technical team
Requirements
What You Need
• Mechanical Engineering degree/diploma
• 7–10+ years in HVAC/mechanical/building services
• Strong hydronic or commercial hot water experience
• Experience managing technical teams
• Strong understanding of central plant and pumped systems
• Ability to read and critique mechanical designs
