Our client is a leading main contractor with an established track record in large-scale building and infrastructure projects, offering strong project exposure, career development opportunities and a stable project pipeline.
Job Description
- Lead and manage the Technical Team covering BIM, C&S, M&E and Architectural disciplines to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
- Manage design interfaces, technical submissions and coordination with clients, consultants and project teams.
- Coordinate and resolve design and technical issues to support smooth construction.
- Plan and manage shop drawing submissions, particularly RC and architectural drawings, ensuring timely approvals.
- Prepare and coordinate technical proposals and design solutions based on project requirements.
- Chair regular technical coordination meetings and monitor design progress.
- Ensure design solutions comply with construction standards, statutory requirements, contract specifications and buildability requirements.
- Work closely with the construction team to ensure the latest drawings, design changes and technical requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years' relevant experience in technical/design coordination within the construction industry.
- Experience in large-scale building or hospital projects will be highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of RC structural works, with good understanding of architectural and M&E coordination.
- Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Self-motivated, independent and able to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
OTHER INFORMATION:
- Location: Depending on project
- Working hours: 5.5 Days
- Salary: up to S$12,000 and Bonus (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
