Technical Officer (Building)
Job Summary
Lead and supervise a team of technicians to manage facilities maintenance, ensuring timely, safe, and compliant execution of preventive, corrective, and improvement works for building systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of technicians to execute all facilities management activities effectively
- Supervise and perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for building trades to ensure operational reliability
- Conduct routine building inspections to identify defects and initiate corrective actions
- Coordinate and oversee contractors to ensure repair and maintenance works meet specifications and safety standards
- Verify completion of maintenance jobs and maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance records
- Assist in alteration and addition (A&A), upgrading, and improvement projects to enhance building systems
- Monitor work progress and ensure timely closure of all work orders to maintain operational efficiency
- Enforce compliance with safety regulations and building standards to safeguard personnel and property
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support facilities management objectives
