Technical Officer (E&I)
Summary
Maintains and inspects gas production equipment and plant systems in Singapore, ensuring operational safety and efficiency with a focus on electrical/mechatronic engineering.
Job Responsibilities:
- Carry out regular inspection, annual overhaul, servicing and maintenance of equipment and plant ancillaries.
- Monitor essential spares and inform supervisor if replenishment is required.
- Troubleshoot of simple plant equipment faults with supervisor’s guidance.
- Ensure and maintain proper filing and documentation of administrative, maintenance and service works.
- Ensure safety in all maintenance and service works carried out by contractors.
- Responsible for the proper and efficient operation of gas making plants and its ancillaries.
- Attend to matters relating to production, quality control, storage and distribution of Town Gas from the Gas Works.
- Perform standby duties after office hours.
Pre-requisites:
- Diploma in Electrical / Mechatronic Engineering.
- Preferably 1-2 years of relevant experience.
