Technical operation support staff
Job Description
- Manage AV setup and live operations for school events, assemblies and performances.
- Operate lighting, soundboards and media mixing consoles during live events.
- Support students and staff with AV equipment setup and testing.
- Conduct AV system training for Media Club students and teachers.
- Handle photography, videography and video editing for school events andpromotional content.
- Maintain the school website and digital signage.
- Manage and maintain classroom AV systems, including projectors,interactive displays and sound systems.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of AV equipment.
- Perform regular checks and maintenance of PA systems to ensure proper functionality
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or Higher Nitec in Audio-Visual Technology, Media Production, IT or related field.
- At least 2–3 years of hands-on AV experience, including live event production.
- Experience in training teachers and students on AV equipment.
- Proven experience in photography, videography and professional videoediting.
- Proficient in digital audio mixers, wireless microphones and stagelighting systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills for AV and classroom systems.
- Basic knowledge of website CMS and digital signage platforms.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willing to support early morning or after-school events when required.
- Physically able to lift, transport and set up AV equipment safely
