Technical Operations Intern - Hardware & Logistics
Location: Salt Lake City, UT (On-Site)
Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling
Compensation: $19–$28 per hour
About The Role
Palladyne AI is seeking a Technical Operations Intern to help keep technical equipment available, ready, and in the right place when teams need it. You’ll support the provisioning, tracking, staging, shipping, recovery, and purchasing of hardware used for sales, demonstrations, engineering, and customer deployments. This is a hands-on internship combining equipment coordination, basic IT and hardware work, logistics, purchasing, and planning.

What You’ll Do
- Track equipment across sites and manage assignments, shipping, returns, repairs, storage, and inventory audits.
- Provision computers, assemble deployment and demonstration kits, and verify standard configurations.
- Consolidate equipment requests, forecast upcoming needs, and identify potential shortages.
- Order equipment and coordinate vendors and delivery schedules.
- Track equipment readiness and communicate needs, risks, and status across teams.
- Help ensure equipment is available in time to support sales, demonstrations, engineering, and customer deployments.
