Technical Operations Specialist (Web Scraping, Ingestion & Account Backfill)

Functional Stream: Operations Surge & Delivery Continuity (Yellow Stream) Reports To: Lead AI Systems Engineer Engagement Type: Independent Contractor Agreement (B2B Retainer / Emergency Sprint) Location: 100% Remote (Immediate Start)

1. Role Purpose & Business Impact Serves as a dual-track technical and operational surge contributor. This role executes data harvesting—scraping, normalizing, and ingesting external client public records, standards guidelines, and participant directories within 48 to 72 hours using only public data collected with client permission. Concurrently, this role absorbs day-to-day coordination for active secondary Territory Delivery Management (TDM) accounts, freeing internal technical leads to swarm the emergency platform rebuild without compromising active client service levels.
2. Key Responsibilities Targeted Web Scraping (Immediate 48–72h Sprint): Build rate-limited scraping tools using Python (Scrapy, BeautifulSoup, Selenium/Playwright) to extract public registries, assurance standards, and published audit histories using strictly public data gathered with client authorization. Data Structuring & Normalization: Clean, format, and structure unstructured HTML and PDF documents into normalized JSON/CSV datasets ready for database vectorization. QA & Migration Verification Checks: Execute quality assurance checks, data validation, and migration testing on ingested and transformed records to guarantee fidelity. Third-Party Data Ingestion: Connect paid commercial APIs and public datasets to rapidly reconstruct context for the technical team. Active Account Supervision (Backfill): Assume daily tracking, milestone oversight, and status updates across assigned ongoing TDM and consulting accounts. Consultant & SLA Oversight: Track external consultant deliverables and hours, monitor service-level agreements, and ensure client milestones remain on schedule.
3. Candidate Profile & Qualifications Experience: 3+ years combining practical data engineering/web scraping with technical operations, delivery support, or account coordination in professional services environments. Technical Skills: Python, Scrapy, BeautifulSoup, Selenium/Playwright, Pandas, SQL, JSON, ETL data pipelines, and API integrations. Operations & Systems: Proficiency with CRM and project tracking tools (e.g., Zoho Projects, Jira), milestone tracking, and stakeholder communication.
