About the Role
Be a key driver of partner success at scale while serving as a technical ambassador for Veeam’s industry-leading cyber resilience solutions. You’ll partner with strategic organizations, emerging technologies, and a collaborative team focused on helping customers protect and recover their most critical data.
What You’ll Do
- Enable technical sellers to position, sell & win with Veeam.
- Deliver Veeam product & Veeam technical training
- Identify and educate partners on sales plays to support the partner’s key business initiatives and grow pipeline
- Drive awareness of all Veeam products and their differentiators
- Create relationships with partner technical leaders and influencers to expand mindshare in the account
- Foster relationships between partners and key Veeam personal company wide
- Assist sales personnel in executing on the partner account strategy to maximize Veeam revenue
- Provide pre-sales assistance and subject matter expertise to partners for meetings, demonstrations, proof of concepts as their customers evaluate Veeam software
- Effectively utilize available resources to meet and exceed area sales objectives
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Previous pre-sales experience or demonstrated sales acumen desired
- Extensive experience with Cyber Resilience, Virtualization Technologies (VMware VCP & Microsoft MCITP or equivalent)
- Experience designing, building, or selling Veeam solutions
- Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities
- Ability to travel up to 60%, primarily within Canada
- Must be a high-energy, motivated, self-starter, and able to learn new technologies quickly
Bonus Skills
- A breadth of experience with core technologies including Storage, Networking, Servers, and applications with a depth of experience in VMware virtual technologies and Microsoft Windows Server / Hyper-V.
- Hands on experience with Veeam or competitive solutions is desirable
- Strong knowledge of Data Protection & Disaster Recovery technologies is desirable
- Experience & Understanding of Channel Sales & Enablement is desirable
- Strong expertise with DSPM, DLP, data discovery approaches (e.g., patterns/keywords/dictionaries/regex/exact matching) and with common cloud/data systems (e.g., object storage and enterprise databases/warehouses).
- Experience with public cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
- Experience with scripting, orchestration and workflow tools is desirable.

Compensation Transparency
Veeam is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation. For this role, the compensation range below reflects the expected total target compensation (TTC), inclusive of base pay and a competitive performance-based bonus. For roles with a commission plan, the compensation range represents On Target Earnings (OTE), which includes base salary plus variable commission. When determining compensation, Veeam takes into consideration factors such as experience, education, and skills. Offers are typically made below the midpoint of the range.
