TECHNICAL PLANT MANAGER
Job Summary
Our client in the manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced Technical Plant Manager (TPM) to lead and optimize end-to-end rice milling operations, from paddy intake through to packaging. The role is responsible for diagnosing operational gaps, driving process improvements, and establishing operational excellence to support scale-up. The TPM will serve as the primary technical authority, ensuring efficient production, equipment reliability, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Conduct comprehensive operational diagnostic and execute 90-day turnaround plan
- Optimize milling yield, quality, and efficiency through hands-on process engineering
- Develop and implement Preventive Maintenance program for milling equipment
- Establish SOPs, preventive maintenance program, and production scheduling
- Train and mentor GM, DGM, Production Shift Leads, Quality Control and maintenance
technicians - Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven approach and serve as
- primary technical authority for all production decisions.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 8–10 years’ experience in commercial rice milling operations
Hands-on experience with Chinese and European integrated milling machinery
Proven record of operational turnaround and yield improvement
Strong leadership, training, and mentoring capabilities
