The Role and the Team
As a Technical Presales Consultant, you will be the technical backbone of the sales organization. You will be part of a global presales team and will partner closely with Sales and Account Manager, Product, and Services teams to articulate the technical value of our solutions, design architectures, run customer workshops, and ensure our products align with customer business outcomes. You will play a critical role in shaping deals, influencing product adoption, and ensuring customer confidence throughout the sales cycle.

Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in complex IT environments and a good understanding of the fund industry
Technical skills:
Global Operations: Ability to work across global time zones when required

The Role and the Team
As a Technical Presales Consultant, you will be the technical backbone of the sales organization. Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer requirements, architecture, security, compliance needs, and business objectives
- Produce solution diagrams, architectures, integration concepts, and technical proposals
- Explain complex technical concepts in a simple, business focused way
- Build trusted technical relationships with customer stakeholders (IT, Architecture, Security, Line of Business)
- Work hand in hand with Functional Presales to shape deal strategy and position solutions effectively
- Support RFP/RFI responses from a technical perspective
- Stay current on product updates, industry trends, and competitor offerings
- Provide customer feedback to Product Management to influence roadmap priorities
- Collaborate with Services to ensure a smooth handover post sale
- Manage demo environments, scripts, custom integration and reporting
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in complex IT environments and a good understanding of the fund industry
Technical skills:
- Strong knowledge on Cloud and SaaS
- Skills in system integration, APIs, or solution architecture
- Skills in SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle databases would be an asset
- Knowledge of Multifonds Global Accounting or Global Investor data model would be an asset
- Knowledge of Apache Camel or YAML would be an asset
- Curiosity to learn new technologies (knowledge in AI is a plus)
- Excellent analytical and logical skills
- Ability to address problems with methodology
- Ability to anticipate prospect/client needs and be proactive
- Strong motivation to continuously increase quality and efficiency
- Storytelling and communication skills
- Experience presenting to technical and business audiences is an asset
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for nontechnical stakeholders
