Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead the definition, delivery, and scaling of analytical products powered by machine learning and emerging GenAI capabilities. This role will translate business needs into product roadmaps, prioritized backlogs, and production-ready solutions, working closely with data scientists, engineers, architects, business stakeholders, and governance teams. The ideal candidate combines strong technical fluency in AI/ML and cloud platforms with hands-on product leadership and Agile delivery experience.

Major Responsibilities

  • Define and own product vision, strategy, roadmap, and release priorities for analytical, machine learning, and selected GenAI products.

  • Partner with business stakeholders and end users to identify high-value problems, validate needs, and translate them into product requirements, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery and business case development through MVP, pilot, production rollout, adoption, and value realization.

  • Work with data science and engineering teams to shape ML-driven and GenAI-enabled solutions, including appropriate RAG-based use cases, with focus on usability, technical feasibility, and responsible deployment.

  • Own the product backlog and delivery cadence; facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.

  • Lead and coordinate a cross-functional product squad of approximately 4-5 team members, aligning dependencies across architecture, engineering, data, security, and business teams.

  • Define product success metrics and monitor adoption, product performance, and business impact such as productivity, quality, cost, or cycle-time improvement.

  • Communicate roadmap, progress, dependencies, risks, and realized outcomes to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

Knowledge and Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Business/Technology Management, or a related field.

  • Agile, Scrum, Product Owner, or Product Management certification is preferred.

Work Experience

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in technical product management or product ownership, with demonstrated experience developing analytical or data products, particularly machine learning-enabled solutions.

  • Experience delivering AI/ML products across discovery, development, launch, adoption, and continuous improvement stages.

  • Experience with GenAI products or use cases is preferred, including familiarity with LLM-enabled applications, RAG, MCP etc. concepts.

  • Experience leading or managing a small cross-functional delivery team or squad of approximately 3 – 4 members.

Skills and Competencies Required to Perform the Job

  • Product Management: Ability to create product strategies and roadmaps, manage priorities, develop business cases, write clear requirements and user stories, and balance user value with technical feasibility.

  • Analytical and ML Products: Sound understanding of the machine learning product lifecycle, data needs, model performance considerations, deployment dependencies, and product monitoring.

  • GenAI Concepts: Working understanding of LLM-enabled applications, embeddings, vector search, prompt considerations, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and evaluation fundamentals.

  • Cloud Platforms: Working knowledge of AWS and Azure platforms and how cloud data, analytics, and AI/ML services support product development and deployment.

  • Agile Delivery: Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum or Kanban practices, sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.

  • Team Leadership: Ability to guide a small cross-functional team, resolve delivery blockers, align dependencies, and foster ownership and accountability.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Ability to translate technical AI/ML concepts into business terms and clearly communicate decisions, progress, risks, and value to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Business Value Measurement: Experience defining KPIs and measuring adoption, efficiency gains, cost impact, quality improvements, cycle-time reduction, or other product outcomes.

  • Governance and Responsible AI: Awareness of security, data privacy, model risk, responsible AI, and governance considerations when delivering AI-enabled products.
