Technical Product Manager
Salmon is a technology-driven financial company building a banking and lending platform across Southeast Asia, starting in the Philippines.
In three years, we've grown to 7M+ app downloads, 2M+ monthly active users, 7000+ partner stores, and US$350M+ raised from top-tier investors.
Here, you get real ownership from day one, high standards, and direct communication. You'll work alongside a team that combines deep local knowledge and experience scaling regulated financial companies from scratch.
If you want to solve complex problems at scale and directly impact how millions of people access and manage money, come build with us.
Southeast Asia's fintech moment starts here.
About the role:
You'll build Salmon's next generation of card products — Apple Pay and Google Pay, virtual and one-time virtual cards — owning each from business request to production across issuers, acquirers, and payment systems.
What you'll do:
Ship new card capabilities: Apple Pay and Google Pay integration, card tokenization, virtual and one-time virtual cards
Work hands-on across card issuing and processing, e-commerce payments and 3-D Secure, and the full card lifecycle, where knowing how issuers, acquirers, and payment systems fit together is what moves things forward
Own delivery end to end, coordinating engineering, QA, internal teams, and external providers from first business request to production release
What you'll own:
Design new card features and services to support product growth and improve operations
Design and improve APIs and system integrations — both from scratch and on existing services
Write clear, structured technical documentation for developers
Build and manage integrations with internal teams and external payment providers
Set tasks for developers and QA in Jira and Confluence, then initiate and run the release process
Monitor service performance after release and resolve production incidents
What makes you a strong fit:
3+ years as a Technical Product Manager or System Analyst, ideally in fintech or banking
Hands-on experience with payment services or systems, and a clear understanding of how issuers, acquirers, and payment systems interact
Solid knowledge of microservice architecture and system design
Experience designing APIs and integrations from scratch
Strong SQL
Experience analyzing and resolving incidents in production
