Technical Product Manager

Summary

Owns a developer-facing product: plans roadmap, writes specs, and drives cross-timezone delivery with Bangalore and US teams using tools like Playwright/Selenium.

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 4000000 - Rs 5000000 (ie INR 40 - 50 LPA)

Min Experience: 4+ years

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
JobType: full-time

We're looking for a Technical Product Manager who can understand the product deeply and act as the connective tissue between the two teams. You'll own planning and delivery: working with the US team to shape priorities, and driving execution with the Bangalore team so things ship on time and to spec. This is a role for someone who is equally comfortable in a technical design discussion and in a stakeholder alignment conversation.

Requirements

What you'll do

  • Be the bridge between the US and Bangalore teams — keep both sides aligned on priorities, context, and trade-offs across time zones.
  • Work with the US team to plan the roadmap, then be accountable for on-time, on-spec product delivery with the engineering team.
  • Understand the product deeply enough to write clear specs, resolve ambiguity, and make day-to-day scope calls without escalating everything.
  • Translate customer and market needs (largely in the QA/testing space) into prioritized, buildable work.
  • Track delivery and product health, and communicate status crisply to founders and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the engineering team in India to deliver the product to clients.

Required skills & qualifications

  • 4+ years in product management, ideally on a technical or developer-facing product.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication — you can keep distributed teams aligned and write specs engineers respect.
  • Strong ownership over delivery: planning, sequencing, unblocking, and holding a timeline.
  • Working understanding of the QA/testing space (E2E testing, automation frameworks like Playwright/Selenium/Cypress, flakiness, test maintenance) — strongly preferred.
  • Technical fluency to reason about our stack and its constraints, including:
    • LLMs and their limitations (hallucination, context limits, non-determinism)
    • Knowledge graphs
    • Vector databases and retrieval

Nice to have

  • Background at a dev-tools, testing, or DevOps/quality startup.
  • Hands-on experience with automated tests or AI-assisted developer tooling.

Why join

  • A talented team and a fast-paced environment where you'll ship and see impact quickly.
  • Real traction — we have paying clients, not just a pitch deck.
  • A culture of openness, where ideas and feedback flow freely in both directions.
  • We'll work to equip you with everything you need to do your job well.
  • Direct line to the founders and outsized influence on product direction.
