Technical Product Marketing & Developer Relations
Description
Company: Corepass
Product: Remy — AI Coding Agent
Location: United States preferred; remote considered
Team: Product & Growth
Reports to: Product & Technology Lead
The Role
As our Technical Product Marketing & Developer Relations lead, you’ll own how Remy is presented to developers and drive user acquisition, activation, and adoption.
You should be an experienced user of AI coding agents, comfortable using them to build applications, automate workflows, work with APIs, and manage servers. That depth lets you demonstrate Remy credibly and hold substantive conversations with developers.
Your primary job, though, is marketing and growth. You’ll turn technical capabilities into compelling content, distribute it through developer communities, build relationships with creators, and run campaigns that convert developer interest into active users.
What You’ll Do
Technical Product Marketing & Content
- Own Remy’s positioning and differentiation against competing AI coding agents.
- Build real projects with Remy and competing agents, and turn the results into credible, hands-on comparisons.
- Produce demos, tutorials, articles, and short videos that developers want to read and share, on a consistent cadence.
Developer Marketing & Distribution
- Build Remy’s presence on X, Reddit, Hacker News, GitHub, and developer communities through genuine participation.
- Build relationships with reviewers, technical creators, developer advocates, and open-source maintainers.
- Develop repeatable distribution that brings in qualified users rather than superficial engagement.
Hands-On Agent Engineering
- Use coding agents to build apps and automate workflows across repos, terminals, APIs, and browsers.
- Set up and troubleshoot Linux servers, cloud instances, Docker, DNS, authentication, and deployments.
- Find demanding workflows Remy can showcase, and share what you learn with product and engineering.
You’ll build and debug real workflows independently, but you won’t own production infrastructure or serve as a primary software engineer.
Developer Relations & Ecosystem
- Help developers get started with Remy through tutorials, examples, and documentation.
- Find integration opportunities with GitHub, CI/CD, open-source projects, and other developer tools.
- Run beta programs and workshops, and turn early adopters into long-term advocates.
Growth & Launches
- Plan launches and GTM campaigns with the marketing team.
- Track acquisition, conversion, activation, and retention.
- Run experiments to find the messages, audiences, and channels that bring the most valuable users.
- Make sure marketing claims match what the product actually does.
What We’re Looking For
Required
- Extensive hands-on experience with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Aider, or similar agents. This includes evaluating their output, running tests, and debugging failures rather than trusting results blindly.
- A clear understanding of agent strengths, limitations, and failure modes.
- Comfort with terminals, Git/GitHub, APIs, HTTP, authentication, environment variables, and basic scripting.
- Experience deploying apps or automations to servers or the cloud, with working familiarity with Linux, Docker, DNS, and networking.
- Strong writing, and the ability to explain technical concepts in a way developers trust.
- Experience creating content, demos, or campaigns for technical audiences, or working with developer communities and creators.
- Ability to take an idea from exploration through content, distribution, and performance analysis, working independently in a fast-moving startup.
Preferred
- Background in DevRel, technical product marketing, developer advocacy, or growth for developer tools.
- Experience marketing AI products, coding agents, APIs, or infrastructure software.
- Experience building and distributing open-source projects.
- An existing network in AI engineering or coding-agent communities.
How We’ll Measure Success
- Growth in qualified signups and activated users from developer channels, and how well those users are retained.
- A steady output of technically credible content and demos.
- Successful launches, creator partnerships, and campaigns.
- Adoption of tutorials and integrations.
- Actionable feedback delivered to product and engineering.
We prioritize active, retained users over followers, impressions, and other vanity metrics.
Who Will Thrive Here
You might be a developer who has become deeply proficient with AI agents, a technical founder with marketing instincts, or a developer advocate who enjoys building as much as explaining.
You can use an agent to build an app, deploy it, connect it to APIs, automate an email workflow, and fix what breaks. Then you can turn that experience into a demo other developers want to try. You don’t need to be a senior engineer, but you do need enough depth to build and troubleshoot real systems on your own.
Your job is to grow Remy. Your technical skills are what let you do it credibly.
