Compensation: $74,817 - $118,211

Role Summary
The Technical Product Owner (TPO) will be responsible for a combination of enterprise platforms that enable end-to-end processing of loan and rental transactions, including application capture, credit evaluation, contract creation, and digital signature workflows. These systems integrate with upstream sales tools and downstream financial systems to support the full lifecycle of customer agreements.
This role sits at the intersection of business, technology and vendor delivery - ensuring that enhancements, incidents, and platform evolution are prioritized, executed, and aligned to enterprise value.
The TPO acts as the single point of control for what gets built and when, while ensuring operational stability of critical dealer, billing, and collections workflows.
Responsibilities
1. Production Support & Incident Triage (Primary Function)
Act as support owner for Loan/Lease Origination System & Loan Management System (EDGE & ASSET)
Perform hands-on triage of production issues, including:
Reproducing issues across environments
Identifying root cause (configuration, data, integration, or vendor defect)
Defining clear resolution paths
Manage incidents end-to-end:
Log, track, and prioritize issues
Coordinate with vendor where required
Validate fixes before closure
Lead triage calls for complex issues involving:
Internal teams
Vendor resources
2. System Configuration & Administration
Perform hands-on configuration updates across systems, including:
Contract templates, document tagging (DocuSign)
Workflow updates and field configurations
System setup (entities, users, access, system codes)
Own day-to-day system administration, including:
User access and security management
Environment validation and setup
Configuration testing
Determine:
What can be resolved internally via configuration
What must be escalated to vendor
3. End-to-End Workflow Ownership (Origination System EDGE → Management System ASSET)
Develop deep understanding of:
Loan and rental origination flows in EDGE
Data transitions into ASSET
Contract lifecycle and downstream processing
Troubleshoot issues across the full lifecycle:
UI behavior
Backend configuration
Integration points (APIs, DocuSign, etc.)
Validate that workflows operate correctly post-change or release
4. Vendor Delivery & Execution Oversight
Act as primary technical interface with vendor
Create high-quality tickets including:
Clear repro steps
Expected vs actual behavior
Supporting data/details
Track vendor work to completion:
Follow-ups
Escalations when needed
Validation of delivered fixes
Ensure:
Proper ticket triage and classification (incident vs enhancement)
Clear acceptance criteria and expected outcomes before vendor handoff
5. Release Validation & QA Support
Participate in testing and validation of vendor releases
Ensure:
Regression impacts are identified
Core system workflows remain stable
Work with QA and business users to:
Validate fixes
Confirm readiness for production
Qualifications:
4–7+ years in: Technical Product Owner / Sr. BSA / Technical Administrator role
Experience working with: Vendor-driven platforms (outsourced development models) and Complex enterprise workflows (financial / contract systems preferred)
Strong understanding of: APIs & system integrations, Workflow-based platforms, Configuration vs custom development trade-offs
Experience with: Backlog management tools and Data flows and process mapping
Strong prioritization and decision-making ability
Ability to translate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders
Experience managing competing stakeholder demands across business units
