The Technical Production Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining manufacturing equipment used to produce high-quality products that meet customer specifications. This role supports production operations through equipment setup, quality inspection, troubleshooting, and process improvement activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment, including CNC-operated machinery, to produce wooden spool products according to customer specifications
- Review work orders, drawings, blueprints, and production specifications to ensure accurate product output and quality standards
- Perform machine adjustments, calibrations, and routine troubleshooting to maintain production efficiency and product quality.
- Use measuring and inspection tools such as calipers, gauges, and other precision instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Identify and resolve equipment, process, or product quality issues and recommend corrective actions when needed
- Support CNC cutting and routing operations using Shop Bot equipment and Vectric software or demonstrate the ability to learn CNC programming and operation quickly
