Description

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Billions across the globe use and love Google Workspace products like Gmail, Drive, Meet, Calendar, Docs, Editors, and Chat. In order to scale and ensure Workspace users continue to enjoy using our products, Workspace SRE is driving several complex, high impact projects that require rigorous program management for their successful delivery.

Workspace SRE is at the center of changes happening in the Workspace product area. The amount of scope per capita in Workspace SRE is enormous. We are involved with data integrity, performance, availability, design/architecture consistency, system-wide dependency analysis/reduction ultimately, we provide end-to-end product ownership.

We have initiated several cross-functional technical solutions that are absorbed by multiple product lines e.g., Pod, Compass, Splanner etc. Our horizontal efforts continue to impact the business, our users, and our overall velocity. Our teams engage both vertically with the product and horizontally across the product area and company.
