Technical Program Manager
Summary
Lead cross-functional technical projects in electronic payments, coordinating engineering, product, and business teams to deliver solutions from concept to launch.
You will lead technical workstreams and initiatives from concept to completion, coordinating engineering, product, design, and business teams. You will manage scope, schedules, resources, risks, dependencies, and technical tradeoffs while facilitating planning, documenting decisions, updating leadership, and removing obstacles for engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Drive technical projects from concept to completion
- Manage project scope, schedules, and resources
- Identify dependencies, risks, and issues
- Develop mitigation strategies
- Facilitate communication between engineering, product, design, and business teams
- Lead technical planning, estimation, and prioritization sessions
- Document technical decisions
- Provide regular status updates to leadership
- Remove obstacles for engineering teams
- Balance technical tradeoffs with business requirements and timelines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of technical program or project management experience
- Understanding of relevant technologies, software development methodologies, and S-SDLC processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies and development practices
- Ability to understand complex technical systems and explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant certification
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira or Asana
- Data analysis and visualization skills
- Experience in electronic payments and accounting systems
