Technical Program Manager

Open 16d

Summary

Technical Program Manager leading a zero-to-one AI-first rebuild of a consumer membership app, coordinating internal engineering teams, external vendors, and game development partners to hit a hard launch deadline.

Renowned for revolutionizing digital content creation, Beast Industries encompasses a diverse portfolio of ventures that extend far beyond its origins on YouTube. At Beast Industries, we believe in the transformative power of digital media and its potential to entertain, educate, and effect positive change. Our commitment to innovation, creativity, and philanthropy drives us to explore new frontiers, create unforgettable experiences, and build a legacy that inspires future generations.

The Opportunity

We're doing an AI-first engineering rebuild for a company that already has an audience of 100M+ people. This is a zero-to-one build with no legacy constraints, multiple workstreams running in parallel, and a hard launch deadline. You're not here to run status meetings. You're here to make sure nothing falls through the cracks across internal engineering teams, external development partners, and a product that millions of people will use the day it ships.

The Product

You'll be the execution backbone of the Beast membership app, coordinating across Beast's internal engineering teams, our game development partners, and multiple vendors, ensuring every workstream is tightly aligned, every handoff is clean, and every risk is surfaced and resolved before it becomes a blocker. That means:

  • A complex multi-vendor, multi-team program where alignment gaps and handoff failures directly threaten the launch timeline.
  • Integration milestones that require meticulous tracking, structured check-ins, and proactive escalation when things slip.
  • A fast-moving engineering org that needs someone who can bring rigor without slowing down velocity.

What You'll Do

  • Own the program plan end to end across internal teams and external partners, covering milestones, dependencies, risks, and blockers.
  • Drive structured weekly check-ins with all key leads, ensuring alignment on integration milestones and surfacing issues early enough to course correct.
  • Enforce handoff standards so nothing ships without the receiving team being fully ready, including documentation, onboarding sessions, and acceptance criteria locked before any handoff closes.
  • Serve as the connective tissue between engineering, product, and vendor partners, translating between technical and non-technical stakeholders and escalating to exec leadership when needed.
  • Build and maintain a "can't fail" execution culture by proactively identifying risks, owning follow-through, and holding teams accountable without micromanaging.

Who You Are

  • Execution-Obsessed: You run tight programs. You know the difference between a status update and actually moving something forward, and you default to the latter.
  • Multi-Vendor Experience: You've managed programs involving external development partners or contractors alongside internal engineering teams, and you know how to hold vendors accountable without burning the relationship.
  • Technical Depth: You're comfortable going deep enough to understand engineering dependencies, integration risks, and technical handoff requirements. You don't need to write the code, but you need to know when something isn't right.
  • Clear Communicator: You can run a crisp leadership sync, write a structured escalation memo, and tell a VP exactly what's at risk and what needs to happen, all in the same day.
  • Startup Ready: You thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and know how to build a process that enables velocity rather than slowing it down.

5+ years of TPM or program management experience in a technical environment, with at least 2 years managing programs involving external vendors or development partners. Bonus points for experience in consumer app development, media or entertainment technology, or managing game SDK or mobile framework integrations.
