Technical Project Manager/ AM– IT Infrastructure & Modernization (Banking)

Salary: $45,000 – $55,000 per month

Role Overview Seeking a project professional with a strong technical background to oversee systems modernization, data migrations, and enterprise IT upgrades. This role acts as the bridge between technical engineering teams, external vendors, and operational stakeholders to drive infrastructure initiatives from initial planning through final transition.

Core Responsibilities

• End-to-End Project Execution: Manage project timelines, dependencies, risks, system cutovers, and operational handovers.

• Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate across systems engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and third-party vendors.

• Technical Oversight: Apply hands-on systems knowledge to evaluate technical plans, resolve delivery bottlenecks, and translate technical risks into business impact.

• Stakeholder Reporting: Lead project meetings, track progress against agreed scope, and handle escalations.

Candidate Profile

• Experience: 5+ years managing enterprise IT infrastructure projects. (Engineers transitioning to PM roles with under 5 years of formal PM experience will be considered for an Assistant PM title).

• Technical Foundation: Practical experience in Linux/Unix, Windows Administration, or End-User Computing (EUC) environments.

• Project Expertise: Proven track record in system cutovers, legacy transformations, or cloud/data migrations.

• Tools & Skills: Familiarity with Agile practices and tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

• Languages: Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

• Assets: PMP/PRINCE2 certifications and previous exposure to banking or regulated environments are preferred.
