Technical Project Manager(banking)

Salary: $40,000 – $60,000 per month

Summary

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the projects within a banking environment. This is a lead role that requires a strong technical foundation (Java) combined with senior-level project governance. You will act as the core bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams, managing a team of 5-10 members to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Responsibilities

· Act as the primary conduit between business units and IT teams, translating business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.

· Take full ownership of the project lifecycle, including scope definition, schedule planning, resource allocation, and budget control.

· Proactively monitor project risks, identify potential bottlenecks, and implement mitigation strategies to strictly prevent timeline slippages.

· Utilize your strong Java technical background to critically evaluate code quality, assess technical feasibility, and ensure development deliverables perfectly align with business requirements.

· Lead, mentor, and manage a technical development team of 5-10 members, fostering collaboration and high performance.

· Drive the execution of projects specifically related to Mobile Banking Applications.

Requirements

· Mandatory background with multiple years of Project Management experience within the Banking or Financial Services industry.

· Proficient in Java with the ability to perform technical assessments. You must be able to effectively evaluate code and communicate deeply with developers on technical solutions.

· Proven track record in managing complex projects with strong capabilities in progress tracking, risk control, and timeline management.

· Demonstrated experience managing or leading technical teams with a headcount of 5-10 people.

· Work under pressure and strong leadership experience.
