Technical Project Manager, Cloud Transformation Projects
Summary
Technical Project Manager leading cloud transformation projects, managing end-to-end delivery of cloud platform and architecture standardization initiatives. Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of cloud platform and architecture standardisation projects.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, KPIs, and stakeholder communications.
- Coordinate with cloud, DevOps, security, enterprise architecture, and vendor teams.
- Drive cloud migration, modernisation, infrastructure standardisation, and governance initiatives.
- Facilitate architecture reviews, technical workshops, and governance checkpoints.
- Ensure compliance with cloud, security, and organisational standards.
- Support adoption of DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, and reusable cloud patterns.
- Prepare project status reports, documentation, and executive updates.
Mandatory Requirements
- 7+ years of IT/cloud project management experience, leading end-to-end initiatives.
- Hands-on familiarity with Multi-cloud or hybrid cloud experience such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, platform standardisation, and governance, preferably in the government sector.
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, automation, Kubernetes, or Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent tools.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to track KPIs and deliver projects within scope, time, and budget.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum certification will be good to have.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF will be good to have.
- Exposure to FinOps/cloud cost optimisation will be good to have.
- Experience with architecture review boards or governance committees will be good to have.
