About the Role
We are seeking a Project Manager with a robust technical background to join a dynamic international team located in Lisbon. This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead cross-functional projects, engage with international stakeholders, and drive the successful delivery of technology initiatives within an Agile framework.
Main Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of IT and technical projects, ensuring scope, quality, budget, and timelines are consistently met.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and serve as the primary liaison between technical and business stakeholders.
Manage project planning, execution, risk mitigation, and reporting efforts.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies and advocate for Agile best practices among team members.
Monitor project progress and workflows utilizing Jira.
Collaborate with technical teams when analyzing XML data structures and SQL databases.
Ensure that service delivery adheres to ITIL best practices.
Identify project dependencies, address obstacles, and proactively manage associated risks.
Prepare project documentation, status reports, and executive presentations.
Foster collaboration in a diverse and multicultural environment.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, specifically in IT or software development projects.
A strong technical background with effective communication skills to engage with development and infrastructure teams.
Experience in leading technical and cross-functional teams.
Solid proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or similar).
Hands-on experience with Jira for project management and tracking purposes.
Good knowledge of XML and SQL.
Familiarity with ITIL principles and IT Service Management processes.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Fluency in French at a minimum of level B1 or B2 (mandatory).
Professional-level proficiency in English.
Nice to Have
Certifications such as Scrum Master, PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL.
Experience in international and multicultural settings.
Experience in managing software development or digital transformation projects.
Knowledge of DevOps practices or cloud computing environments.
