Experience

6–10 years of experience in software project management, with experience working with global and Indian clients.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager who can manage software projects from planning to delivery. The person should have good technical understanding, strong global client communication skills, and practical knowledge of Agile project management and AI-based projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end software projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
  
• Communicate regularly with global clients and act as the primary project contact.
  
• Understand client requirements and convert them into clear project plans and deliverables.
  
• Manage project scope, timeline, budget, risks, dependencies, and resources.
  
• Lead Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, and Retrospective.
  
• Work closely with developers, QA engineers, UI/UX teams, architects, and business teams.
  
• Track project progress and provide regular status reports to clients and management.
  
• Identify project risks and dependencies and take timely action to resolve them.
  
• Manage change requests and ensure proper impact analysis before commitment.
  
• Ensure that project deliverables meet quality and security standards.
  
• Manage multiple projects or workstreams when required.
  

AI Project Management

• Manage projects involving AI/ML, Generative AI, LLM, or AI-powered applications.
  
• Understand the basic concepts of AI/ML, LLMs, APIs, prompt engineering, RAG, and AI model integration.
  
• Coordinate with technical teams to define AI project scope, milestones, and deliverables.
  
• Track AI-specific risks such as data quality, model accuracy, hallucination, security, privacy, and performance.
  
• Coordinate AI model/API integration with existing applications and systems.
  
• Work with stakeholders to define measurable success criteria for AI solutions.
  

Technical Skills

• Good understanding of Web and API-based application architecture.
  
• Working knowledge of frontend, backend, databases, APIs, and cloud environments.
  
• Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, CI/CD, Git, and cloud platforms.
  
• Understanding of software development and testing processes.
  
• Basic understanding of AI/ML, Generative AI, LLM, RAG, and AI APIs.
  
• Ability to understand technical discussions and explain them clearly to business stakeholders.
  

Agile Skills

• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
  
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools.
  
• Sprint planning, backlog management, estimation, release planning, and delivery tracking.
  
• Experience working with distributed/global Agile teams.
  

Global Client Communication

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  Ability to lead client meetings, project reviews, and steering committee discussions.
  
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  
• Ability to communicate technical issues in simple business language.
  
• Comfortable working across different time zones.
