Summary

Technical Project Manager leading multiple concurrent software development projects with AI-enabled features for a legal client, translating requirements into technical roadmaps and driving cross-functional delivery.

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent software development projects that incorporate AI-enabled features and capabilities for one of our legal clients. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and business strategy - translating ambiguous requirements into clear technical roadmaps, and driving cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, AI-enhanced software on time and within scope. The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation (including hands-on coding experience), a track record of managing complex, multi-workstream projects, and direct experience delivering software products that integrate AI capabilities - such as LLM/API integrations, intelligent automation, copilots, or AI-driven user experiences - from requirements through production deployment. We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to HR@insightglobal.com.To learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/. Skills and Requirements · 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, Program Manager, or similar role in software/technology development. · Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and deadlines. · Direct experience delivering AI-enabled software products (e.g., features built on LLM APIs, AI copilots, intelligent automation, or third-party AI service integrations). · Hands-on coding experience - proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java) sufficient to read code, understand technical trade-offs, and prototype when needed. · Strong grasp of the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and technical scoping through deployment and maintenance. · Proven ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders - translating complex technical concepts into business terms and vice versa. · Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (Jira, Asana, Linear, or similar). · Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a bias toward action. · Prior experience as a software engineer before transitioning into project/program management. · Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern DevOps/CI-CD practices. · Experience integrating AI/LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure AI) into production software products. · Understanding of prompt engineering, API rate limits/costs, and UX considerations specific to AI-enabled features. Experience managing distributed/remote teams.
