Technical Project Manager (Shopify & E-commerce)
Summary
Lead end-to-end Shopify e-commerce implementations, coordinating developers and stakeholders while translating technical details into business outcomes.
We're looking for a Technical Project Manager who lives and breathes e-commerce. You'll lead complex Shopify implementations while keeping teams aligned, informed, and moving forward.
This isn't a typical PM role. You'll need deep Shopify expertise to speak the language of developers and the communication chops to translate technical complexity into business value. If you've led Shopify projects from discovery to launch and know how to keep stakeholders engaged across time zones, this could be your next move.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery for Shopify-based e-commerce solutions, managing timelines, scope, and quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, design, QA) to keep projects on track and on budget
- Translate technical details into clear, actionable updates for non-technical stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools, and team collaboration
- Manage project priorities and mitigate risks proactively
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on project management or technical team leadership experience
- Strong Shopify knowledge — whether from a PM, development, or team lead background
- Proven e-commerce expertise (retail, consumer goods, or related industries)
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) — you can present to executives and troubleshoot with developers
- Comfort managing projects remotely and across multiple time zones
