Description

This is a hands-on technology delivery role for someone who can operate effectively between project management and engineering teams. You will translate technical work into structured delivery plans, coordinate cross-functional engineering teams, manage technical dependencies and risks, and drive projects from planning through deployment and stabilization. You will work closely with Solution Architects, Technical Leads, Developers, Integration and Data Engineers, DevOps, QA, Business Analysts, client stakeholders, and vendors. This role requires more than maintaining Jira boards and scheduling meetings. You should understand how technology projects are delivered and be able to ask the right questions when architecture, environments, APIs, integrations, infrastructure, data, testing, or deployment dependencies begin affecting the plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from requirements and planning through development, integration, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
  • Build detailed plans, milestones, workstreams, dependencies, and release schedules.
  • Translate engineering estimates into executable plans and challenge assumptions, timelines, and estimates when risks emerge.
  • Maintain RAID logs, dependency trackers, decision logs, action items, and project health indicators.
  • Identify risks early, track planned versus actual progress, build recovery plans, manage scope changes, and escalate with clear impact, options, and recommendations.
  • Coordinate API, integration, application, infrastructure, data, security, environment, and testing dependencies.
  • Drive development readiness, QA, UAT, release readiness, cutover, deployment, and production stabilization.
  • Track defects and blockers through closure.
  • Lead client status meetings, delivery reviews, and governance discussions.
  • Communicate technical issues in clear business terms and manage expectations across India and global teams.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, backlog readiness, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coordinate release planning, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare across Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid models.
  • Use AI and automation tools to improve planning, documentation, meeting outputs, risk identification, and status reporting, while maintaining review, confidentiality, and accountability.

Requirements:

  • 5-9 years of overall experience in technology delivery, with meaningful experience as a Technical Project Manager, Project Manager, Technical Program Manager, Delivery Lead, or similar.
  • Experience managing software engineering, enterprise application, cloud, integration, data, infrastructure, or digital transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of the SDLC, from requirements through development, testing, release, and production.
  • Technical fluency to work effectively with Architects, Developers, DevOps, Integration Engineers, and QA.
  • Hands-on experience with project planning, RAID, dependency and risk management, change control, and delivery reporting.
  • Ability to identify when a technical issue affects the critical path and drive recovery.
  • Strong client and stakeholder communication, problem-solving, and escalation-management skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced consulting and Global Delivery Center environment.
  • Comfortable managing delivery around REST/SOAP APIs and enterprise integrations, application and microservices architecture, AWS/Azure cloud environments, CI/CD and DevOps pipelines, databases and data dependencies, Dev/QA/UAT/staging/production environments, authentication, access, networking, and security dependencies, deployment, cutover, rollback, production support, defects, logs, monitoring, incidents, and RCA.

Nice To Have:

  • Experience with enterprise integration tools such as Dell Boomi, APIs, middleware, or EDI.
  • Experience with AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD.
  • Experience with Data Engineering or Data Platforms.
  • Exposure to ERP, WMS, CRM, PIM/DAM, or other enterprise applications.
  • Experience in application or legacy modernization, microservices and API-led architectures, or digital portals.
  • Experience working with U. S. or global client delivery, consulting or technology services, and onsite-offshore or GDC delivery models.
