Key Activities
- On time execution, planning and management of all internal engineering activities of our challenging international projects
- Implementation of the Customer requirements specification in compliance with industry standards, regulations and national requirements
- Responsible for the conceptualization as well as preparation of technical specifications, production documents, test plans, type tests and documentation & training documents.
- Management of the project team, which consists of Project Managers Engineering and Lead Project Engineers for various disciplines.
- Lead in Customer support and communication in close collaboration with the Commercial Project Manager
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (mechanical or electrical) or equivalent training
- PMP preferred
- Training in business administration preferred
- 5+ years experience in the field of rail vehicle, defense, aerospace, automotive or equivalent
- Experience in leading challenging projects in an international environment
- Team player with excellent social skills, sense of responsibility and assertiveness
- Entrepreneurial thinking and acting
- Structured, goal-oriented, dynamic and loyal personality
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Business fluent in English (required) and German (preferred at least B1 level)
