Technical Project Manager (Tech PM)

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end project delivery including planning, scope management, resource allocation, budget tracking, execution, and deployment.
  • Drive Agile project governance, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, release planning, and SDLC/SSDLC compliance.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, infrastructure teams, security teams, and application development teams to manage technical dependencies and solution delivery.
  • Manage stakeholder communications, steering committee updates, vendor coordination, and status reporting.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with banking regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
  • Oversee SIT, UAT, production deployment, cutover activities, and post-implementation reviews.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 9 years of experience managing technology projects within Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, or large enterprise environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Hybrid Waterfall-Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Experience managing projects involving:
  • Core banking platforms and enterprise integrations

    Microservices architecture and REST API integrations

  • DevOps and CI/CD practices
  • Cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP

    Application security and infrastructure governance

  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • PMP
  • PMI-ACP
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
  • SAFe Agilist
