What You Will Get To Do:

As a Technical Reporting Manager, you will lead the delivery of critical client, regulatory and operational reporting activities across Self-Invested Personal Pension (SIPP), Individual Savings Account (ISA) and third-party investment products.

The role is responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely and compliant delivery of a wide range of customer communications and regulatory returns, while driving continuous improvement, process optimisation and reporting transformation initiatives across the Technical and Reporting functions.

Leading a team of four reporting administrators, you will provide technical expertise, people leadership and operational oversight to ensure reporting obligations are met and customer outcomes remain at the forefront of all activities.

Key responsibilities for the role:

• Manage team performance, productivity, absence management and professional development plans.

• Oversee the production, quality assurance and delivery of client reporting obligations.
• Ensure all client communications meet regulatory, legislative and customer service requirements.
• Maintain ownership and oversight of regulatory and operational reporting obligations.

• Lead transformation initiatives across the Reporting and Technical Operations functions.
• Support the implementation of regulatory and legislative change where required, ensuring impacts are understood and incorporated into operational processes.

• Support the company's risk management framework and associated governance processes.
• Identify, assess and manage operational and regulatory risks relating to reporting activities.

• Act as a technical subject matter expert for pension, ISA and investment product regulations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across Operations, Compliance, Risk, Finance, Product and Technology teams.

• Lead the identification and delivery of process improvement initiatives across the SIPP Reporting and Technical Operations functions.
• Create and maintain a pipeline of efficiency opportunities, prioritising initiatives that improve customer outcomes, control effectiveness and operational resilience.
• Drive automation opportunities through technology, workflow redesign and data-led decision making.
• Support strategic transformation programmes and ensure successful embedding of change into business-as-usual operations.

What You Will Bring:

• Strong knowledge of financial services products, regulatory and customer reporting requirements across ISA, pensions and investment products.
• Understanding of UK pensions, tax and financial services regulatory frameworks and the ability to interpret regulatory change and translate into operation processes and reporting requirements.
• Experience interpreting complex legislation and translating regulatory requirements into practical reporting, operational and business solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and identify reporting risk and control improvements.
• Experience managing regulatory and statutory reporting obligations ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Experience operating within risk management and governance frameworks.
• Demonstrable experience leading operational transformation, process improvement or business change initiatives.
• Strong understanding of process design, operational efficiency and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience identifying and implementing automation opportunities to improve service delivery, quality and control effectiveness.

• Experience of platform, wealth management or pension administration operations.
