The Opportunity

You'll be joining a rapidly growing global automotive aftermarket technology business specialising in software and hardware for modern vehicle diagnostics and calibration.

Working closely with the Director of European Operations, you'll help develop the company's dealer and reseller network throughout Europe.

This isn't a desk-based technical support job and it isn't pure sales.

You'll be talking to customers, demonstrating technology, helping solve technical problems, developing commercial opportunities and representing the brand at events across Europe.

What You'll Do

Your focus will be on helping customers succeed while growing the business across Europe.

You'll:

• Develop relationships with tuning shops, dealers, resellers and individual customers
• Identify new opportunities and help build the European sales pipeline
• Grow existing accounts by understanding customer requirements and recommending the right solutions
• Demonstrate products and technology to existing and prospective customers
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical assistance
• Deliver product training and help customers get the best from the technology
• Represent the brand at exhibitions, shows, club meetings and promotional events
• Monitor competitor products, pricing and technology developments
• Feed customer and market requirements back into the business
• Support European sales forecasting and commercial planning

You'll be travelling regularly across the UK and Europe, typically around three days per week, with the opportunity to attend the company's annual meeting in the USA.

What We're Looking For

This is where the role is quite specific.

You'll need hands-on ECU/GCU tuning or calibration experience combined with relevant sales experience within the tuning sector.

You might currently be working for a:

• Vehicle tuning or remapping business
• Performance automotive specialist
• ECU calibration company
• Automotive diagnostic equipment supplier
• Motorsport or performance parts business
• Tuning software or hardware provider

You'll understand the technical complexities of modern vehicles but also be comfortable building relationships and identifying commercial opportunities.

You'll ideally bring:

• Practical ECU/GCU tuning or calibration knowledge
• Automotive aftermarket sales experience
• A genuine interest in performance vehicles and automotive technology
• The confidence to demonstrate technical products
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A self-motivated approach and the ability to manage your own diary
• The flexibility to travel regularly throughout Europe

Powersports experience would be a significant advantage, while French, German or Spanish language skills would also be useful. Full product training will be provided.

Location & Working Pattern

The preference is for you to be based from the company's modern offices in Hitchin, Hertfordshire.

However, there is flexibility.

Strong UK candidates who can't relocate may be considered on a hybrid basis, while exceptional candidates based in Central Europe could potentially work remotely with regular travel to the UK office.
