As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be the key technical and commercial contact for customers using the Brabender product range within your territory.
Combining technical expertise with a strong commercial mindset, you will identify customer needs, support them throughout their projects and recommend the most suitable solutions for their applications, primarily in the plastics and polymers industry.
You will also be responsible for developing your customer portfolio and actively contributing to the growth of the Brabender business in France.
Your Main Responsibilities :
- Develop sales of the Brabender product range across the northern half of France
- Identify and generate new business opportunities
- Develop and maintain a portfolio of industrial customers
- Analyze customers' technical and application requirements
- Recommend tailored solutions in the fields of plastics, polymers, extrusion and compounding
- Present our solutions and conduct technical equipment demonstrations
- Provide first-level technical support to customers
- Support customers throughout their projects, from initial needs assessment through to solution follow-up
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
- Manage and follow up on projects and sales opportunities within your territory
- Work closely with Anton Paar France's sales, technical and application teams
- Collaborate with the Brabender teams in Germany to provide the most appropriate solutions and contribute to achieving sales targets
These responsibilities reflect the core scope of the original position, including customer needs analysis, technical demonstrations, first-level support, customer relationship development and collaboration with the German team.
You have a higher education degree in science or engineering, ideally in materials science, polymers, plastics engineering, materials chemistry or a related field.
You have at least 3 years of technical experience, ideally gained in an environment related to materials, plastics or polymers. The original job description specifies at least three years of technical experience in material testing and/or quality control.
Knowledge of extrusion, compounding or polymer processing technologies would be a strong advantage.

The position covers primarily the northern half of France and requires regular travel to visit customers and prospects.
To ensure efficient coverage of the territory, the successful candidate should ideally be based in the Paris / Île-de-France area or nearby.
Occasional travel to other parts of France and abroad will also be required, particularly for training and meetings with the Brabender teams. The original position requires mobility within France and occasional international travel for internal training.
The compensation package will be determined according to the candidate's profile and experience.
