Technical Sales Executive / Sales Engineer
Work Location: Woodlands, Singapore
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Basic Salary: S$2,500 – S$3,500 per month
Incentives: Team Sales Incentive
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Technical Sales Executive to support business development and sales activities for industrial products, including process valves, industrial automation and instrumentation solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, providing technical product recommendations and supporting sales activities across industries such as manufacturing, oil and gas, and water treatment.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and business partners.
Identify, develop and follow up on new business opportunities.
Promote and sell process valves, industrial automation equipment and instrumentation products.
Understand customers' technical requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
Prepare quotations, sales proposals and relevant documentation.
Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations and customer visits when required.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment and after-sales support.
Work towards sales targets and contribute to business development initiatives.
Maintain customer communication and follow up on enquiries and sales opportunities.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Instrumentation or a related engineering discipline is preferred.
Experience in industrial sales, technical sales or engineering-related roles is advantageous.
Interest in industrial products, process valves, automation or instrumentation.
Able to understand technical specifications and recommend appropriate solutions.
Good communication, interpersonal and customer relationship management skills.
Proactive, self-motivated and willing to learn.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
