We're Hiring – Technical Sales Manager (Deck Machinery) | Singapore
Our client, a leading provider of offshore equipment and engineered solutions, is looking for an experienced Technical Sales Manager to drive business development across the Asia-Pacific region.
This role is ideal for a sales professional with a strong background in deck machinery, lifting and pulling equipment, or offshore handling systems, and experience working with EPC contractors, offshore operators, shipyards, and marine contractors. The organization supplies integrated back-deck equipment, winch systems, cable handling equipment, and related offshore solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve regional revenue targets.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the offshore, marine, and energy sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with EPC contractors, offshore operators, vessel owners, shipyards, and engineering companies.
- Promote technical solutions including: Hydraulic and electric winches Traction and spooling winches Mooring systems Deck cranes Cable handling equipment Tensioners Reel drive systems Over boarding sheaves HPUs and other deck machinery
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.
- Conduct product presentations and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and project teams to deliver tailored customer solutions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, conferences, and client meetings throughout Asia-Pacific.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Offshore Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of technical sales experience within the marine, offshore, or energy industry.
- Proven experience selling deck machinery, offshore equipment, lifting equipment, cable handling systems, or winch packages.
- Strong network within offshore contractors, EPC companies, shipyards, and vessel owners.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong commercial negotiation and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel across Asia-Pacific.
