Technical Sales Manager

Discussion

Integrations are where e-commerce breaks

A merchant runs their store on one system, their finances in another, their warehouse in a third, their shipping in a fourth. Each works on its own. None talk to each other without someone doing the work.

Junipeer is that work, as a product. We connect e-commerce platforms, ERP and finance systems, logistics and payments — Shopify, Centra, Norce, Fortnox, Visma, Monitor, Specter and Sendify among them — so data moves between them automatically.

The role

You own the commercial side of Junipeer: partner relationships and closing deals, not one or the other.

You will sit in conversations where the customer, their ERP vendor and their implementation agency are all in the room, and be the one who understands what they are trying to do — and whether we can do it. Not at a specification level; that is the integration team's job. But well enough to say "that flow works today", "that needs a connector we would have to build", or "that system's API does not expose that data" — and be right. A deal sold on a promise we cannot deliver costs us twice: once in delivery, once in the relationship.

What you will do

  • Own the pipeline in HubSpot end to end — qualify inbound, build outbound, run deals to signature.
  • Build relationships with ERP vendors, e-commerce platforms and implementation agencies: joint pipeline, integration listings, co-marketing, and getting their sales teams to bring us in.
  • Turn a customer's description of what they want into a high-level solution outline and a gap analysis against what we support today.
  • Act on movement in the ecosystem — platform migrations, vendor partnerships, gaps where an existing solution does not hold up.
  • Hand over cleanly to the integration team at signature, and stay the commercial contact.

We are a small company, and that cuts both ways

You will have real ownership and no script. You will also, some weeks, step outside your role — covering for someone, chasing a support issue to a conclusion, or fixing something that clearly matters and just as clearly is not your job. People who need a defined territory and a clean handoff at every edge are not happy here. People who would rather the problem got solved tend to be.

The rest of the honest version: the role has a number attached, onboarding is founder-led rather than a structured program, and some weeks are messy.

What we offer

  • Onboarding directly with our founder, in real customer meetings from your first weeks. Fast, demanding, and the main reason someone early in their career can succeed here too.
  • Hybrid, on the same terms as the rest of the team. Stockholm-based.

Process

  • A first conversation about the role and what you are looking for.
  • A working session: we give you a real customer case and our connector list and talk through how you would approach it. You are not expected to get it right — we want to see how you think.
  • A final conversation with one more person from the team.
  • References and offer.

Required

  • Swedish at native or fully professional level, plus professional English. Our customers, partners and agencies work in Swedish. Our team works in English.
  • Intellectual honesty. You say "I don't know, I'll find out" rather than guessing. A confident wrong answer here becomes someone else's delivery problem.
  • Technical curiosity. You do not need to know what a webhook is today, but you have to want to understand how systems fit together. If that sounds tedious, this role will make you miserable however well you sell.
  • Flexibility. Small team. Roles overlap, priorities move, and things outside your job description will need doing.
  • Self-direction and structure. No sales support function, and most of the work happens in writing and in the CRM.

Helpful, not required

  • B2B SaaS sales experience with a quota.
  • A network in the Swedish ERP or e-commerce ecosystem.
  • Experience selling with or through partners, not only direct.
  • An understanding of what integrations cost to build and run.

Not required

  • Writing code, or experience with our specific connectors.

On experience level

We hire the person, not the CV. Years are not a filter, and we would rather wait for someone exceptional than fill the seat quickly. If you are early in your career and the required list describes you, apply.
