Technical Sales Representative - Lifecycle Services

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Technical Sales Representative supports the growth of Lifecycle Services revenue by promoting and selling aftermarket parts, field services, upgrades, rebuilds, preventive maintenance programs, and other service-related offerings. Working closely with customers, Regional Sales Managers, Customer Service, and Field Service teams, this position identifies sales opportunities within Marlen's installed equipment base and assists customers in selecting solutions that improve equipment performance and reliability.
This role is responsible for proactive customer outreach, opportunity tracking, quotation support, and follow-up activities while delivering exceptional customer service and helping achieve Lifecycle Services sales objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promote and sell aftermarket parts, service, upgrades, rebuilds, and preventative maintenance solutions.
- Proactively contact customers to identify equipment support and service needs.
- Leverage CRM, install base, sales, and service data to identify sales opportunities and customer trends.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales documentation.
- Follow up on customer inquiries, quotations, and open opportunities.
- Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and activity records in CRM.
- Collaborate with Customer Service, Field Service, Engineering, and Regional Sales Managers to support customer requirements.
- Assist customers with product selection and provide technical information regarding service offerings.
- Support sales promotions, marketing campaigns, and customer outreach initiatives.
- Monitor customer purchasing patterns and equipment history to identify additional sales opportunities.
- Participate in customer visits, trade shows, and training activities as required.
- Provide timely communication and follow-up to ensure a positive customer experience.
