Kormax is looking for a technically minded professional to join our Palmerston North team in a varied role combining technical customer support, sales support and administration.
What you'll be doing
You'll be a key point of contact for customers, providing first-level technical advice on metals, engineering materials and their applications, and working with our technical specialists when more detailed expertise is required.
You'll manage customer enquiries and orders, provide sales and administrative support, build strong relationships and work closely with our teams across Australia and New Zealand to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Depending on your skills and experience, there may also be opportunities to contribute to broader office and business support activities.
It's a varied role with plenty of scope for the right person to make it their own.
What we're looking for
You'll bring strong technical aptitude and experience in an engineering, manufacturing or industrial environment, with the ability to understand and discuss technical products and their applications.
Experience with metals and engineering materials would be an advantage, but equally important is your ability to apply technical knowledge, learn new products and confidently provide first-level advice to customers.
You'll also be organised, accurate and responsive, with excellent communication skills, a customer-first approach and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Most importantly, you'll be a great team player who brings our humble, hungry and smart mindsets to the way you work — proactive, willing to learn, good with people and ready to contribute.
