What You Can Expect

About Zimmer Biomet
Zimmer Biomet is a global medical technology leader with a comprehensive portfolio designed to maximise mobility and improve health. With 90+ years of trusted leadership, operations in 25+ countries and sales in 100+ countries, we combine innovative products with integrated digital and robotic technologies that leverage data, data analytics and artificial intelligence.
About Technical Service EMEA
Technical Service keeps Zimmer Biomet’s capital equipment – such as the ROSA® robotic platform and other surgical systems – running reliably in hospitals across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Our teams install, maintain, repair and upgrade these systems, and offer customers warranty, service contracts and Time & Material services.
Behind every customer visit there is data: installed base, service contracts, work orders, spare parts and service revenue, spread across SAP, ServiceMax and other systems. We are now moving this data into Snowflake – and we need someone to turn it into insight.
The Role
As Technical Service Business Analyst, you will be the data engine of Technical Service EMEA. You will connect data from our business systems, build reliable Power BI reports and models, and use AI to automate reporting and create smart, practical tools that help us steer the service business.
A high-visibility role: your dashboards and analyses will be used by Technical Service leadership, EMEA commercial teams and senior management. You will be the go-to person for service data in the region, with a direct impact on how the business is run.

Location: Warsaw, Poland.

How You'll Create Impact

• Build and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards and semantic models (data models, DAX measures) for the Technical Service business.
• Extract, connect and transform data from SAP, ServiceMax and other sources, and help build our service data foundation in Snowflake.
• Write SQL to query, clean and combine data; automate recurring reports to replace manual Excel work.
• Automate reporting and recurring workflows with AI – e.g. Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio agents or Zimmer Biomet’s internal AI solutions – and build simple data applications where needed.
• Answer ad-hoc data requests from management quickly and clearly.
• Work with IT and data teams on data quality, KPI definitions and governance.
• Provide service data and analysis to support commercial teams in deals, tenders and pricing.

What Makes You Stand Out

• A true data and AI enthusiast – curious, precise and always looking for ways to use AI to work faster and smarter.
• Fast and pragmatic: you deliver working results quickly and improve them step by step.
• Able to explain your work in plain language to non-technical colleagues and management.
• Self-driven, structured and at ease in an international team.

Your Background

Must-haves
• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Engineering or similar – or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in data analytics, BI development or data engineering.
• Power BI: strong skills in data modelling / semantic models, DAX, Power Query and report design.
• Snowflake and SQL: hands-on experience querying and modelling data in Snowflake.
• SAP: working knowledge of SAP data structures and experience extracting SAP data for reporting.
• AI & automation: hands-on experience automating work with AI, e.g. Microsoft Copilot / Copilot Studio or similar enterprise AI tools.
• Fluent English.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience with ServiceMax or Salesforce data, or a background in MedTech, technical service or capital equipment.
• Python or R for advanced analytics; certifications such as Microsoft PL-300 or SnowPro.
• Experience with Snowflake Cortex AI or connecting AI assistants to enterprise data.
• Additional European languages.
