As a Technical Services Operations Manager, you’ll lead a motivated team of chemists and drivers while managing full P&L responsibility for a service center. This role is ideal for someone with leadership experience who thrives in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance, driving operational excellence, and supporting both your team and customers.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations for the service center with full P&L ownership
- Oversee scheduling of customer work, logistics, and team assignments
- Manage and develop Field Chemists and Drivers, providing training and support
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and DOT regulations
- Coordinate purchasing, invoices, and supply management for the facility
- Collaborate with Sales, Plant Operations, and Customer Service teams to resolve technical and operational needs
- Communicate facility updates and challenges to regional leadership
Do you have what it takes?
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field is highly preferred
- Previous hazardous material management experience a plus
- Extensive knowledge of DOT regulations highly preferred
- Experience operating a forklift – highly preferred
- Ability to work the schedule for which you are hired for
- Ability to work on-site as described in the job description
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
