Job Summary
Join Advanced InfoComm as a Technical Services & Solutions Manager to lead technical teams, support sales with expert solutions, and drive customer engagement through innovative technology services.
Responsibilities
- Support sales teams by engaging customers and identifying business opportunities through detailed technical discussions and requirement gathering
- Prepare accurate technical proposals, compliance statements, solution architectures, network diagrams, and technical specifications to meet customer needs
- Participate in consultant briefings, tender submissions, and technical evaluations to recommend commercially viable and technically sound solutions
- Lead and manage technical personnel by assigning resources, monitoring workloads, conducting performance reviews, and coaching to build a high-performing team
- Develop certification and competency roadmaps to enhance staff skills and ensure team retention and engagement
- Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concept sessions, and technical presentations to customers, consultants, partners, and system integrators to support sales efforts
- Represent the company at exhibitions, roadshows, and technical seminars to promote products and solutions
- Oversee professional services by reviewing implementation quality, service reports, and providing technical guidance to field engineers to ensure compliance with company and vendor standards
- Manage customer support operations by handling technical escalations, coordinating vendor support and warranty claims, and ensuring effective resolution of customer issues
- Act as technical liaison with vendors by managing escalations, certifications, participating in product roadmap discussions, and evaluating new technologies for introduction
- Conduct customer, partner, and internal training sessions; develop training materials and coordinate certification programs to improve technical competency
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), technical standards, and documentation to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Electronics, IT, Networking, Security Systems, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in security systems, networking, systems integration, or technical support environment.
- Experience in distributor, vendor, SI, or technical service environments will be an advantage.
