Position: Technical Sign Designer
Responsibilities:
- Design commercial signs, monuments, channel letters, pylon signs, and wayfinding systems.
- Create permit-ready drawings and production artwork.
- Develop concepts based on customer requirements and branding standards.
- Prepare shop drawings, renderings, and presentation materials.
- Coordinate with sales, project managers, production, and installation teams.
- Ensure designs comply with local sign codes and regulations.
- Revise designs based on customer and project feedback.
Qualifications:
- Experience in sign design, graphic design, architectural drafting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, AutoCAD, or similar programs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of sign fabrication methods and materials is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
