Your role as a Technical Solution Architect
You will design and deliver technically viable solutions that help our clients achieve their business and technology goals. You’ll work closely with delivery and development teams to translate customer needs into practical architectures, evaluate constraints and risks, and help guide successful implementation and deployment.
This role has a strong data architecture focus, with opportunities to work across enterprise databases, business intelligence, advanced analytics, cloud data platforms, big data, data governance, security, and AI. You’ll combine technical expertise with customer insight to develop modernization roadmaps, architect solutions, and ensure that the technical vision is successfully delivered.
How you’ll contribute
- Design detailed technical solutions that align to customer business and IT objectives.
- Partner with development and delivery teams to oversee implementation and support successful solution deployment.
- Evaluate project constraints, identify alternatives, mitigate technical risks, and recommend opportunities to improve or re-engineer processes.
- Apply technical expertise and customer insights to develop modernization roadmaps and architect solutions that meet business and technology needs.
- Ensure the technical viability of new projects and help guide solutions through implementation and deployment.
- Orchestrate technical resources and apply application development, DevOps, cloud-native, containerized, serverless, and related technologies to support solution delivery.
- Apply data architecture expertise across databases, business intelligence, advanced analytics, big data, data governance, security, and AI solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex technical requirements into clear, scalable solutions.
Your skills and approach
- 2+ years of experience with SQL Server or comparable enterprise database, data, or advanced analytics environments.
- 3+ years of technical experience working in an enterprise environment.
- Strong architectural thinking and the ability to balance business requirements, technical constraints, scalability, security, and delivery considerations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, evaluating tradeoffs, and developing practical solutions to complex problems.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear recommendations and actionable roadmaps.
- Deep technical or architectural knowledge in at least two of the following areas:
1.Database administration: Performance tuning, troubleshooting, high availability/disaster recovery, and security across enterprise or cloud-hosted SQL environments.
2.Database development: Designing and building database solutions, including tables, stored procedures, queries, and related database components.
3.Business intelligence: Designing, developing, and tuning BI solutions and reports using ETL, analytics, semantic modeling, and reporting technologies.
4.Advanced data analytics: Designing and building solutions using cloud data integration, data lake, data warehouse, stream analytics, machine learning, and related platforms.
5.Big data: Implementing solutions using open-source and NoSQL technologies, distributed processing and streaming frameworks, data platforms, containerized model deployments, and vector or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
6.Data governance and security: Applying data governance, information management, and security practices using enterprise data governance platforms.
7.AI services: Implementing solutions using pre-built AI services for capabilities such as vision, speech, language, and decision-making.

Compensation
The hourly pay range for this role is $100 to $115 per hour. The final rate will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant work experience, certifications, education, and geographic location. Please note that the range listed applies specifically to this position and may vary for other roles.
