Technical Solutions Engineer

You will own the technical integration experience for partners building on Polygon. You will maintain API and integration documentation, create quickstarts and sample applications, support technical sales discussions, and lead partners through onboarding, testing, webhook configuration, and production go-live. You will identify integration gaps, provide product feedback, and use AI and internal tools to automate onboarding and support workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain API and integration documentation
• Build quickstarts, sample code, and reference architectures
• Provide technical support during sales conversations and partner integrations
• Lead partners through requirements intake, provisioning, testing, webhook configuration, and go-live validation
• Develop expertise in payment rails, wallets, accounts, custody flows, virtual accounts, deposit addresses, cross-chain movement, and webhooks
• Build demo applications and demo environments
• Identify API and integration gaps and provide prioritized recommendations to Product and Engineering
• Use AI and internal tooling to streamline onboarding, provisioning, and frontline support

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with US payments, including ACH, RTP, wire transfers, card networks, or equivalent rails
• Working understanding of settlement and reconciliation
• Experience leading customer API integrations from kickoff to production, or owning API documentation, SDKs, or developer support at an API-first payments company
• API and troubleshooting skills, including log reading, webhook debugging, authentication, and retry behavior
• Experience using Postman, Bruno, or Datadog
• Technical writing skills for external developer documentation
• Regular use of AI tools to build, document, and automate work
• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment with evolving platform and documentation
