Technical Solutions Manager Radiocrafts

Radiocrafts is a leading designer and manufacturer of RF modules, providing compact, low power and high-performance wireless solutions that enable OEM manufacturers to integrate wireless connectivity into their products. We support customers from initial ideas and product development through to volume production.

Building on our strong position in smart metering, we are now also growing within sub-metering and other industrial market segments. Across these markets, our solutions are used in applications that enable more efficient use of energy and resources, from energy monitoring and solar installations to smart irrigation and industrial systems. This growing demand creates new opportunities for our wireless technologies.

Since 2023, Radiocrafts has been part of LumenRadio, bringing together broad expertise in reliable wireless communication for business-critical applications.

Your future

As Technical Solutions Manager, you will play a key role in helping customers understand, evaluate and successfully design in Radiocrafts’ wireless solutions. Working at the intersection of technology and customer needs, you will be the technical partner to OEM customers throughout the design-in process, from early technical discussions and evaluation to design win and production readiness.

You will work closely with customers’ technical teams, often including technical project managers and development teams, to understand their application and identify the right wireless solution. This may include technical demonstrations and discussions around system architecture, data requirements, range, power consumption and installation environments, translating these needs into solutions based on our technology.

You will be part of an experienced international team spanning technical sales, key account management, business development and customer support, and work closely with our R&D team in Oslo. While Sales Managers own the commercial customer relationship, you bring the technical expertise needed to move opportunities forward. Success in the role will primarily be measured by successful design wins and the development of new customer opportunities. You will actively identify emerging applications and customer opportunities, support market expansion initiatives and bring valuable customer and market insights back into the organization.

The role is based at our Oslo office and includes regular customer visits, industry events and trade shows, typically around 5–10 travel days per month. Your main focus will be Europe and North America, with the majority of travel taking place within Europe.

We offer you

At Radiocrafts, you will be part of a small team where you have the opportunity to make a real impact on our continued development and growth. As part of LumenRadio, you will also have access to a broader network of colleagues, expertise and resources within wireless technology.

You will work with leading international OEM customers across a wide range of applications and markets, including solutions for smarter energy and resource use. You will have the opportunity to influence customer solutions, future products and our market offering.

Our culture is non-hierarchical and informal, with a strong focus on professionalism and quality. We value collaboration, initiative and trust, with a high degree of autonomy.

Our values, RISE, guide how we work and collaborate: Reliability, Innovation, Simplicity and Energy. They reflect how we approach our customers, our technology and each other.

About you

You are an experienced engineer with strong technical knowledge who enjoys solving customer problems and finding the right technical solution. You enjoy working directly with customers and can explain complex technical concepts in a clear and practical way.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications or a related technical discipline

  • Professional experience with wireless communication systems and a strong understanding of short-range radio technologies. Experience with Sub-GHz solutions is particularly relevant.

  • Experience in a customer-facing technical role, supporting OEM customers and development teams through technical evaluation, product selection and design-in

  • Strong communication skills and fluency in written and spoken English

Experience from applications such as smart metering, sub-metering or industrial IoT is valuable, but not a requirement.
