Technical Superintendent (Bunker Fleet)
Summary
Oversee the technical operations and maintenance of a bunker fleet, ensuring vessels meet standards and budgets while coordinating surveys and repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure vessels comply with required technical standards and maintain optimal performance levels.
- Keep all vessel certificates and documentation accurately updated and well-organised.
- Implement and monitor the Company’s planned maintenance system effectively.
- Coordinate and oversee class, statutory, and other mandatory vessel surveys.
- Plan and supervise dry-docking, repairs, and maintenance works.
- Assess and enhance the performance of vessel crew members.
- Prepare, oversee, and control vessels’ technical budgets.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Sailing experience on tankers as a Chief Engineer or Second Engineer (minimum COC Class 2 or 3), or at least 2 years of experience as a Technical Superintendent managing oil and bunker tankers.
- Demonstrates strong integrity and professionalism.
- Proven leadership, teamwork, management, and communication skills.
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
