Technical Supervisor (Water Dispensers)
Setup & Manage Service Workshop - Establish and organize a fully functional service workshop, including layout planning, tools, equipment procurement, and ensuring a safe working environment.
Team Supervision & Leadership - Lead, supervise, and coordinate a team of service technicians, assigning daily tasks, monitoring performance, and supporting skill development to maintain high productivity and quality standards.
Inventory Management - Oversee the inventory of all equipment, spare parts to ensure availability, proper storage, tracking, and timely replenishment.
Training & Development - Plan and conduct regular technical training and refresher courses for technicians to keep the team updated on the latest maintenance techniques, safety procedures, and equipment handling.
Drafting SOPs - Develop, review, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to servicing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair for water dispensers.
Quality & Safety Compliance - Ensure all activities comply with industry safety standards and internal quality policies; conduct periodic audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
Reporting & Documentation - Maintain accurate records of service activities, inventory usage, training sessions, and performance metrics; prepare regular reports for management review.
Customer Support Oversight - Work closely with the customer service team to address feedbacks, faulty dispensers, ensure timely resolution of technical issues, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Installation and Servicing - Carry out installation of water dispensing products and attend to service call as required.
Requirements
· Minimum 2-3years’ experience.
· Possess at least a higher NITEC or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
· Proven experience in supervising a technical service team, preferably in water dispenser maintenance or similar appliance servicing.
· Hands-on experience in installation, servicing & maintenance of various types of drinking water dispensers, water coolers and water filtration systems. Including floor standing and table top POU (Point-of-Use) dispensers.
· Able to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, refrigeration and common faults.
· Experience in workshop setup and inventory control.
· Ability to draft clear and concise SOPs and training materials.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
· Proficient in using Microsoft office for record keeping and reporting.
· Safety-oriented with a good understanding of workplace safety standards (BizSafe).
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
