Technical Support Engineer

You will support end users and troubleshoot Windows, hardware, applications, workstations, and office infrastructure. You will manage incidents, configure equipment and virtual machines, administer VDI assignments, document solutions, and improve support services for business-critical users.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for technical assistance
  • Provide first-line support for Windows and application issues
  • Own user issues through resolution
  • Log, prioritize, categorize, and update incidents and service requests
  • Perform remote and on-site troubleshooting
  • Configure workstations and office equipment
  • Install network and hardware cabling
  • Troubleshoot hardware, operating systems, applications, and office infrastructure
  • Manage user onboarding and offboarding
  • Monitor Windows systems, servers, VDI, and enterprise applications
  • Provision and assign Linux and Windows virtual machines
  • Assign VDIs to users
  • Escalate unresolved issues
  • Maintain inventory
  • Create and update knowledge base articles and procedures
  • Document best practices
  • Relay user feedback and support trends
  • Collaborate with senior team members
  • Improve IT support services

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant desktop/workstation engineering and end-user support experience
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a relevant field
